Product Structure

The WTP-C composite wear-resistant ceramic pipe is formed by self-propagating high-temperature centrifugal casting. The pipeline consists of three layers from the inside to the outside: corundum ceramic, transition layer, and steel. The ceramic layer is a dense corundum ceramic (AL2O3) formed at a high temperature of more than 2200°C, and forms a firm bond with the steel pipe through the transition layer.

Operating Temperature
-50℃ to 700℃

Applicable Media
Solid particle powders such as coal powder, furnace ash, mineral powder, etc., slurries such as coal slurry, coal slime, slag, aluminum liquid, etc.

Application
Composite wear-resistant ceramic pipes are widely used for straight pipe wear protection in gas-solid and liquid-solid transportation systems in metallurgy, mining, electric power, coal, petrochemical and other industries, such as:
1. Coal transportation, coal slurry, coal washing mud, mine filling material, coal powder pipeline;
2. Pipeline transportation of concentrates and tailings in metal mines;
3. Pipelines for ironmaking, coal injection in blast furnaces, slag conveying in steel plants, and preferred pipelines for conveying ferroalloys and refining outside the furnace in steelmaking;
4. Pulverized coal pipelines, slag discharge pipelines in thermal power plants, etc.

Special Notes
Because the centrifugal casting process of WTP-C composite wear-resistant ceramic pipe determines that it is suitable for making straight pipes, if it is used to make elbows, most of them are in the form of shrimps. The interface cannot be guaranteed to be seamless and is prone to eddy currents. The wear resistance of WTP-C is not enough to resist the erosion of materials at the elbows. Therefore, it is not recommended to use WTP-C composite ceramic pipes to make elbows or tees.
If you need wear-resistant ceramic elbows or tees, please choose WTP-P or WTP-M.
