The spherical wear-resistant elbow is mainly used in the pipeline system. By increasing the space size of the wear-resistant elbow at the bending position, it plays a role in buffering the material and alleviating the pressure on the inner wall of the pipeline. When the medium enters the spherical wear-resistant elbow, it will move along the inner wall of the spherical wear-resistant elbow under the action of pressure, dispersing the impact force, avoiding the medium concentrating pressure to a certain place of the elbow causing serious wear and extending the service life of the elbow.
The inner wall of the spherical wear-resistant elbow can also use a wear-resistant ceramic layer. The hemispherical hollow body extends the distance between the inlet and the outlet, reduces the wear of the lower part of the hollow body, and reduces the flow rate of the slurry in the spherical shell. The kinetic energy of the fluid is converted into static pressure energy. Its service life is 8-12 times that of ordinary ball wear-resistant elbows and tees.
The spherical wear-resistant elbows support customization. The inner wall can be lined with wear-resistant ceramics to be more wear-resistant. The angle is generally 90 degrees ( support customization ), and the pressure range is below 1.6 MPa. It is often used in coal, metallurgical mines, thermal power generation, concentrate, tailings, slurry pipelines and pipelines with particle wear.
